Overview
The ZFG series integrated electromagnetic flow meter consists of a ZFG-type electromagnetic flow meter sensor and a ZFH series signal converter, which are combined as a single unit. The signal converter meets the IP67 protection requirements. The ZFG integrated electromagnetic flow meter is primarily used to measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive liquids such as acids, alkalis, salt solutions, pulp, slurry, or liquid-solid two-phase media. It is widely applied in industries such as chemical engineering, mining and metallurgy, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, food, papermaking, sugar refining, and port dredging.
The working principle of electromagnetic flow meters is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. In an electromagnetic flow meter, the conductive medium inside the measuring tube acts like the conductive metal rod in Faraday's experiment. Two electromagnetic coils at the upper and lower ends generate a constant magnetic field. When conductive medium flows through, an induced voltage is generated. The two electrodes inside the pipe measure this induced voltage. The measuring pipe achieves electromagnetic isolation from the fluid and measuring electrodes through a non-conductive lining (such as rubber or Teflon).
